Location - Chicago, IL
The architectural forms throughout the space reference the natural rotating forms of petals around the stigma. The patterned concrete floors, overlapping glass and steel at the reception desk, and circular forms of the ceiling are designed to mimic the notion of concentric petals wrapped around the central point of a flower. The center of the space acts as the hub where a large floral display creates a dramatic and eye catching statement to attract passerby. The approach is clean and modern, allowing the bold and rich colors from the flowers to take precedence and create a lush environment.
